Officially our favorite place to dine at in Seattle. Step into Belltown's hidden gem and experience nothing like it. The service is incredible, the staff treat you with kindness. Our favorite was the spicy lamb and lamb shank. Lamb fell off the bone and the appetizers were a pleasant treat. 10/10.

It was a delightful dining experience so please bring your loved ones, friends and everyone you know. The vibes, immaculate. The food, a feast that will leave you with a full belly, enough to bring home. Aziz served with such flare and warmth that will make you feel at home. We plan on returning with a bigger group for the whole lamb next and hopefully see the belly dancer perform.
By far the best restaurant experience I’ve had in Seattle. From the service to the food everything was perfect. I’ve never felt like I was a welcome guest in someone’s home at a restaurant like this. And the price per person for the amount of quality food and service we received was unbelievable. Don’t sleep on this place!
How anyone ranks this place below 5 stars is beyond me. The owner welcomed us in like we were old friends despite it being our first time there. The vibe is unmatched. Between the curtains and the cushions, it’s like you stepped through a magical door into Morocco. Every meal comes with 5 phenomenal courses: soup, salad and bread, an appetizer, the main course, and dessert. He even brought us baklava at the end, so maybe 6 courses? The mint tea is phenomenal. This is the kind of meal I’ll remember for the rest of my life.
My partner used to live in Seattle and always raved about his experiences at Marrakesh! We finally made a trip out, and it exceeded expectations! The coursing of the meals is wonderful, with the highlight of our night being the Tangine of Spicy Lamb! It was perfectly seasoned, so tender, and bursting with flavor. Highly recommend!!
What a beautiful place! You walk in and feel like you're no longer in Seattle. The atmosphere is so fun and unique, the service is incredible, and the food was delicious! Would definitely come here again. The mint green tea at the end was mine and my husband's fave (and he doesn't even like tea).
Marrekesh Moroccan Restaurant absolutely impressed me. The chicken and the lamb shank were incredibly flavorful, tender, and perfectly seasoned—easily some of the most delicious dishes I’ve had in a long time. The portions were generous, especially considering the great prices, and every bite felt like real value. On top of that, the employees were extremely friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be returning.
What a delightful place to go on Christmas night. The atmosphere is charming and inviting with cosy cushions to sit on. Looks like you’re under a large Bedouin tent. The food was very good and service was excellent.

Recently dined here and loved every bit of it! We went with the 5-course meal, though you can also choose from their à la carte menu. The 5-course option felt like the best value for money—and it truly was. The dining experience began with washing our hands at a traditional wash basin. The first course was a refreshing, light salad, served with fresh, soft bread. Next came the traditional lentil soup—light and comforting, though it could’ve used a bit more seasoning (thankfully, they provided some on the side). The third course was B’stilla Royale, and it turned out to be my favorite of the entire meal! Crunchy on the outside, stuffed with flavorful chicken—absolutely delicious. I wish I had room for another one—definitely coming back for more! For the main course, we ordered two tagine dishes: the Chicken with Honey and Prunes was sweet but surprisingly enjoyable for our palates, while the Spicy Lamb was savory, rich in flavor, and the meat was tender and perfectly cooked. The final course was dessert: a milk pudding that wasn’t overly sweet, with lovely textures, and a cup of mint tea—my all-time favorite drink! Overall, this place offers great value for money and delivers an authentic experience, both in taste and ambiance.
One of my favorite restaurants of all time. The food is exceptional. Everything tastes fresh authentic and homemade. The portions are very generous and one price includes multiple courses which makes it feel like a special feast. To top it off the atmosphere and traditional presentation of the meal transports you to a far off land. And on certain nights they have a wonderful bellydance show. Such a fantastic evening for a very reasonable price. 10 out of 10!!
I went in with medium expectations: wasn’t expecting anything bad or disappointing but wasn’t expecting perfection either. But let me tell you, that was the best meal I have had in years. The food was delicious, the service was genuinely friendly, and the atmosphere was charming. For the amount of food the price was worth it. I will be going back and I’m bringing my family with me.
Went here with a large group of friends, 15+, and we had a great time. Servers made us feel like a part of the family and had fun entertainment. The way it works is it's a 5 course meal. Before you get your food they wash your hands at the table. I guess it's a Moroccan tradition. But the food goes like this. 1. Bread and eggplant salad. 2. Lentils soup. 3. Chicken baklava. 4. Main course of what you chose. 5. Dessert coconut pudding. Since we had so many people we ordered a family meal which was a variety of meals like lamb, chicken, vegetarian, and other dishes. They were all really good, but the highlights were the honey chicken, lamb eggplant, and chicken baklava. My favorite being the chicken baklava, it's sweet and savory which you think wouldn't work, however it is delicious, couldn't get enough of it. What was most surprising is they had a belly dancer show in the middle of the restaurant which was really neat. The server was super nice and made jokes with us, great time. I highly recommend stopping by and having the chicken baklava it's so good.
The hospitality of the place is out of this world! Aziz was so incredibly welcoming. We were definitely treated like old friends, and spent three hours there just taking out time, sipping on wine and tea. He was so friendly that he even gifted us a whole bottle of Moroccan wine after opening it for two glasses. The food was good and it’s definitely a great deal to get so much food and all the courses for $30-40. Great to come with a group of friends and just enjoy your time!
